If you truly know me, you'd know that my Fridays are spent watching TV shows that consist of anything paranormal (haven't you figured out I have no life yet). The shows I tune into on a weekly basis are as follows: Ghost Adventures, Ghost Hunters (on Wednesdays), Most Haunted*, and Paranormal State. Now, technically Paranormal State airs every Monday on A&E (http://www.aetv.com/paranormal-state/), but if there's a re-run, I like to watch my DVR'ed episodes of PS.Why is Ryan a hot geek of the week? I'll explain... He's a hot geek. See? That wasn't so hard. He hosts and directs the bitch that is Paranormal State the show. He went to Penn State (so he's educated), he started the Paranormal Research Society back in 2001 (he's an entrepreneur), and he has issues with acne (we have had something in common). So there you go. His monotone voices reaches right into my heart and makes me happy. That, and he golds up his shirts to his elbows and I am just a sucker for well-tailored button-down shirts, so he's definitely stepped his fashion game up. Oh, and he wears a long pea coat I adore! He makes me happy. Don't you want to see me happy?
Just a heads up, I didn't make this cheesy video, but I might as well have.
* = You could play a drinking game based on this British show. Everytime you hear them say in their accents "Did you hear that?" and they keep replaying it over an over and you DON'T hear anything? Take a shot. You'll be plastered by the end of it.

ReplyDeleteRyan is unbelievably hott for many reasons: He's a hardcore Catholic, he's serious, sexy voice,takes charge, he's a REAL man, compassionate, professional, really intelligent, rolls his sleeves up to his elbows, can pull off a popped collar and I hate those, deep mysterious eyes, brave, protector, God is number one, tall, fit, he unbuttons the top few buttons on his shirts, orgasmic when he gets angry or yells, listener, like a knight in shining armor, he licks his lips, little dimple on his right cheek, gives lots of hugs, stands up for those who are too scarred or don't know how, you just know he's an all out warrior for God because of his personal attacks from the evil one. The devil attacks those that are of the biggest threat to him. Ryan Buell is just an out-and-out FOX.
ReplyDeleteI love that I watch all the same shows you do..awesome...check out A Haunting on Discovery Channel..it's more narrative in fashion..but definitely entertaining..there was one episode, that I remebered, and TAPS (Ghost Hunters) had actually condicted an investigation on their show..I get weirded out when I notice random things like that, LOL!

Ryan is a god to me and my friend. She has been watching PS much longer than I have, from the first season, but when I found the show, I died and went to heaven. Ryan seems to be a very sweet, compassionate man who cares deeply for others who have been or are going through paranormal experiences and have nothing or no one else to turn to for help. The fact that he has over come his personal demons is another reason how he's such a strong man. Watching Ryan and his team's strength during their investigations have helped me go through some things that I went through when I was younger. Thank you, Ryan and your PS team for everything you've done for us.

But besides the fact he is so sexy and passionate, and deep, and has these indescribable eyes that look into your soul.
The reason I watch his show so much is because I too experience the Paranormal even to this day and one day i will hopefully become a Paranormal Investigator.

ReplyDeleteHe is "hot" but hes much more than that. He is passionate about what he does, hes smart, caring, open minded, he is an amazing writer (which is my favorite thing about him since i am passionate about writing myself) and he just seems like the kind of guy who could protect you from everything. Paranormal or not. He is strong and mature. everything a man should be. And extremely nice to look at so that is a bonus. The girl he marries will be quite lucky.

ReplyDelete"job" mean something. I see PRS come into lives, of the living and the
Dead and try and help. He sends spirits on their way, which helps both.
He try's to figure out what the "problem" is so it can be fixed whatever it
may be. The other show just "use" spirits to prove they exist. If you have
A brain in your head, you already know that. Ryan shows us not only
what exists, but how to live with or without it or them. He helps spirits find
their way. Almost a "Ghost Whisperer", but for real. And, who cares about
about his sexual life, he lives a productive, caring life, at least on the show.

ReplyDeleteI think the most endearing part of Ryan is that he truly cares for people that are in need. I am betting he would stop and help a person sitting on a bench crying, instead of just walking by. I am betting he is a perfectionist, and would only yell or get upset if it had to do with disappointing his fans or someone who needed him. I imagine him not forgetting his friends birthdays or important dates, unless of course it was due to helping someone out. yes he is very charismatic, but I bet he wouldn't admit it without a shy grin and a red face first. lol. I adore his whole troop, they are what strives me to attune my empathic abilities stronger, so one day I might just save the money to go to one of their retreats. other than what he chooses to share, I don't ask and don't pry about his private life. as with everyone of us, we are entitled to having our own little space that is just ours, that no one else can see, hear, or know about.
